Animals at Ash House

Ash House is home to several cats and dogs, all of whom are rescue animals with stories to tell.

These family pets are not allowed in the guest accommodation but you are likely to come across them on your way to your rooms. Furthermore, although we do what we can to prevent it, cats will be cats I'm afraid, and when we are not around it is not entirely unknown for one puss in particular to jump up onto the central island in the kitchen. But the cats absolutely do NOT set foot on the food preparation work surfaces.

If you are not comfortable in the company of cats or dogs, or feel that having animals in a B&B establishment is unacceptable, we accept your views and would far rather you found an alternative place to stay than came here and felt ill at ease.

If, however, you are an animal lover, we are sure you will find Ash House and all its occupants to be most friendly and hospitable. Much better to enjoy your time here than be miserable and feel it necessary to sneak off afterwards to leave a catty review on an accommodation website!
